I’m a 2008 graduated of The University. Yes, I’m being pretentious, aren’t all UVa grads? In 2008 I received my Masters in Special Ed. and spent the summer teaching in Africa. Upon returning to the States, I took a job teaching high school students with E/BD in D.C. I’m now teaching elementary students with LD.
I teach as a means to bring hope to every child. As Mr. Jefferson himself stated, “It is highly interesting to our country, and it is the duty of its functionaries, to provide that every citizen in it should receive an education proportioned to the condition and pursuits of his life.”
